The KEP Schools

These are just a few of the schools that KEP has worked with.

Kiogo
Founded only in 2002, Kiogo S.D.A. Mixed Secondary is a fairly young but very ambitious school located half an hour from Kisii Town on the slopes of Manga Escarpment.

Eramba
Eramba Secondary is unique among the KEP family of schools with an impressive KCSE average score of 7.6 out of 12 (listed as the 3rd most improved school in the country in 2004).

Maroba
Maroba is a small, friendly school positioned on the top of a hill, 40 minutes walk from the town of Ogembo.  It is in a remote and isolated area but the project workers were made incredibly welcome by the whole community.

Chibwobi
Chibwobi Secondary School, containing 342 students, perches on a valley side overlooking the bustling village of Gesusu. The greatest asset that Chibwobi possesses are the young, committed and enthusiastic staff, led by the reliable head teacher Mr Milton Guto and deputy headteacher Mr Laban Obarchi.

St James Ichuni
St James Ichuni is high in the hills of Kenya, a short distance from the bustling town of Keroka. The views are truly beautiful and the small, well-built school has a glowing charm, but that is nothing compared to the people with which St James is associated.
